    நீர்ப்பிடிப்பு பகுதிகளில் மழையின் குறைந்ததன் காரணமாக மேட்டூர் அணைக்கு நீர்வரத்து 2,266 கனஅடியாக குறைந்தது.

    மேட்டூர் அணையின் நீர்மட்டம் 46.54 அடியிலிருந்து 45.90 அடியாக இன்று காலை குறைந்தது. அணைக்கு வரும் நீரின் அளவு வினாடிக்கு 6,550 கன அடியிலிருந்து வினாடிக்கு 2,266 கனஅடியாக குறைந்துள்ளது.

     அணையில் இருந்து காவிரி டெல்டா பாசனத்திற்கு வினாடிக்கு 6,500 கனஅடி வீதம் தண்ணீர் திறக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. அணையின் நீர் இருப்பு 15.32 டிஎம்சியாக உள்ளது.
