இஸ்ரோ எனப்படும் இந்திய விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் (இந்தியன் ஸ்பேஸ் ரிசர்ச் ஆர்கனைசேஷன்) நிர்வாகத்தின் கீழ் இந்தியன் இன்ஸ்டியூட் ஆப் ரிமோட் சென்சிங் கல்வி நிறுவனம் இயங்கி வருகிறது.   விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சி, புவி சம்பந்தமான தகவல்களைத் திரட்டுவதற்கு ரிமோட் சென்சிங் மற்றும் ஜியோ இன்பர்
மேட்டிக்ஸ் குறித்து அறிந்திருக்க வேண்டும்.  அதற்கு அது சம்பந்தமான படிப்புகளைப் படித்திருக்க வேண்டியது அவசியமாகின்றது.
